Spencer and Amanda Okey met at Ball State University and were married in 2012. They have 3 kids, but currently are foster parents to 3 more. When they started Hoosier Fencing, they knew they did not want to be just another contractor in the area. They wanted Hoosier Fence & Outdoor Living to be the best fence company in Northeast Indiana. They knew they would build this company on 3 main Pillars. Honesty, integrity and customer service! 

Spencer often tells his team, “We are a customer service company that also installs fences.” Our goal is always to make the fence purchasing process as easy and seamless as possible! We strive to install only the highest quality products using only the best techniques while meeting ASTM guidelines! Initial
Consultation

We schedule an initial consultation to hammer out the details you want! A fence expert will ensure we’re on the same page as far as things like style, material, cuts, additional options, location, and cost.

Preparation and Installation

Once final measurements are taken, and the price is agreed upon, we begin prepping the installation site and setting your new fence. Perfect execution, and no additional changes unless agreed to by you.

Cleanup and Collection of Payment

After the installation is complete, we begin the cleanup process. It is our mission to leave every property looking better than we found it. We then wrap up and head on our way!

Yes, we offer a lifetime workmanship warranty on ALL OUR WORK that covers anything we might do wrong during the installation of the fence (I.e missed nails, loose screws, post not set deep enough). Materials like aluminum and vinyl have a limited lifetime warranty.

All wooden fences will warp, twist, crack, check, and change colors. Staining your fence within the first 2-3 months (after the wood has dried to below 14%) will drastically slow this process down. It will also protect your investment, so that your able to get more life out of your wooden fence.

Aluminum and vinyl fences are great low maintenance options. Typically only requires a power washing once a year.

Our metal fences come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty that protects against cracking, peeling, chipping, blistering and corrosion resulting in structural failure, without cause and workmanship and material defects through the manufacturer.

COATED GALVANIZED STEEL

All of our metal fences are coated inside and out. Our metal framework is subjected to a multi-stage pre-treatment/wash, followed by a duplex cathodic electrocoat system consisting of an epoxy primer, which significantly increases corrosion protection, and an acrylic topcoat, which provides the protection necessary to withstand adverse weathering effects.
